Human Resource Management Practices in Kazi Farms Group
Abstract
The overall goal of the internship report is to fulfill the requirement of the BBA program, which is to obtain my
Bachelor's degree. This report is about what I experienced and accomplished as an intern in the human resources
department of Kazi Farms. The Kazi Farms Group is one of Bangladesh's oldest and most successful poultry
industry that still running in the top. The Kazi Farms Group HR department is the best place for obtaining valuable
information about HR functions. The whole of Kazi Farms’ including Kazi Media, Kazi Foods, and as well as
other sister concerns, HR operations are controlled from Kazi Farms head office and also this wouldn’t be possible
without a very capable and strong HR team. Because of the hard-working HR team, there are efficient and
effective employees in every position inside the company.
In the very first chapter is the Introduction, it contains the report's background, objectives, limitations,
methodology, purpose, and scope. The second chapter is the literature review, which I wrote in my own words
after assembling articles from Google Scholar. Brief descriptions of Kazi Farms' mission, vision, other sister
concerns, and corporate information are provided in the third chapter; so, that I can briefly portray the company
before moving on to the main portion. The fourth chapter is the most important since it details the report's goal
and the HR procedures at Kazi Farms. This chapter's focus was on Kazi Farms' Human Resources Planning,
Recruitment and Selection procedures, Training and development, Performance Appraisal, and Compensation
and Benefit and as well as what finding I have found out during my internship. The fifth and last chapter is the
Recommendation and Conclusion. And at the very end is the reference.
As usual, both primary and secondary sources were used to compile this report. The main data came from the
three-month period of observation and information collected from current HR employees for all HR procedures
at Kazi Farms. Secondary data was gathered via consulting websites, journal, papers, and manuals. I avoided
being biased to present an objective report. Overall, I was appreciably motivated by my internship experience and
gained a comprehensive understanding of human resources management. I can apply the lessons that our esteemed
professors taught us during the four years of the BBA degree to actual situations
