Project Report on The impact of COVID 19 on maintaining health, hygiene, safety & welfares’ facilities in the Garments Industry of Bangladesh – A Study on AJI Group
Abstract
Human Resource Management is the management of all people-related strategies adopted within a firm or Industry. It focuses on maximizing the organization's human resources and improving employee performance in order to meet the organization's goals. Practices of Industrial law and labor relationship are a part of HRM. Healthy labor relations are necessary for the growth and success. Since Bangladesh’ RMG sector is in the 2nd position in the world. So, if long-term lockdowns are maintained in developing countries like Bangladesh, unemployment and poverty could increase at an unbridled rate, along with the number of deaths due to starvation. Therefore, in view of the current reality, the Ministry of Labor of Bangladesh formulated a number of policies on compliance of industries with specific health, hygiene, safety regulations which will be overseen by BGMEA and BKMEA. In this report, the challenges of HR department of AJI Group Industrial Park on maintaining health, hygienic, safety and welfares’ facilities in garments industry of Bangladesh during this COVID situation have been analyzed.
The AJI group established itself in the ready-made garments industry and in the case of maintaining health, hygiene, safety and welfare’s facilities during this COVID 19 epidemic, their organization is now kept much cleaner as well as the HR department perform Occupational Health and Safety duties in their workplaces. According the conducting of survey analysis, some difficulties have been discussed in this report. And according to the analysis and findings, some recommendations have been provided which can be help to the challenges of the HRD of AJI Group on maintaining health, hygiene, safety and welfares’ facilities during this COVID 19.
