Project Report On “The Impact of COVID-19 in The Human Resource Management Practices of Private organizations operating in Bangladesh”
Abstract
The COVID-19 virus and its potential pandemics have revealed the importance of the HR (Human Resource) department in organizations and companies, especially with the new challenges raised by Coronavirus. Employees need to be supported more than ever, especially with the uncertain future and the high possibility of losing jobs or salary deductions due to COVID-19. So, employers start depending more on their HR department to obtain the right human resources strategy for their company to face new challenges. Now we can spotlight different challenges caused by a virus such as the increasing unemployment rate, salary deduction, psychological impact of COVID-19 on employees, managing remote work, working hours, tensions between employees, and social distance.
The report mainly focuses on “The Impact of COVID-19 in The Human Resource Management Practices of Private organizations operating in Bangladesh”. In the first part, I explained report’s Introduction, origins, about the objectives of the study. In chapter 2 I have added the methodology of this report. Thirdly, I discussed the HRM Challenges and Opportunities in the COVID 19 era Literature Review. In fourth chapter, I have discussed the descriptive of Human Resource Management. It including different types Objectives, process, functions and importance of HRM. In fifth Chapter, I have discussed The Impact of Covid-19 on Human Resource Management Practices in the Private Organisations of Bangladesh. It is including banking, garments, IT, Healthcare sector etc. In Chapter Six, I have analysed data of survey questionnaire. Lastly, I have added some findings and Recommendations on the Impact of COVID-19 on The Human Resource Management Practices of Private organizations.
